Peter R. Penczer was assistant archivist and curator at the B.F. Saul Company in Bethesda, Md., for more than eight years. He worked with curator James M. Goode to write a company history and developed and installed a dozen exhibits on Washington history for properties including the Hay-Adams hotel and the Kennedy-Warren apartments. These exhibits were published as Capital Views by Smithsonian Books in 2012.
Peter has been a freelance picture researcher since 1996 for corporate and government clients. He has searched dozens of libraries, historical societies, and archives for photographs for book projects, documentary films, and exhibits.
